  • Pre-Arrival COVID Testing & Vaccination Requirements
    • All Pitzer students will be required to complete a PCR COVID-19 test at least 72 hours prior to move-in arrival and produce a negative test result upon arrival on campus.
    • Students are allowed up to two move-in helpers. Move-in helpers must provide their vaccination record card OR a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken no more than three days prior to their arrival when they check-in.
      • Move-in helpers are allowed to enter residential buildings to drop off items but MAY NOT enter residential rooms/suites.
    • Students and move-in helpers should also complete their Healthy Pitzer screening form the morning of move-in/prior to their arrival. We will ask to see the verification email on your phone at that time.
    • Be sure to bring masks with you as masks will be required for ALL, indoors and outdoors, on move-in day.

    Other COVID resources to review:

  • Check-In Process (Main Campus and Pitzer@CCA)

Be sure to know/write down your building and room number! You’ll need to know this upon arrival.

Main Campus (Pitzer, Atherton, Sanborn, Skandera, West, East, and Mead Halls)

    • All students will check-in at the Gold Student Health & Wellness Center (#3 on map below)
      • For reference: Campus Map
      • We recommend parking in the East Mesa Lot (#15 on map)
    • At check in we will:
      • Review your PCR COVID negative test results (students) and move-in helpers vaccine cards OR PCR COVID negative test results
      • Review your Healthy Pitzer screening verification email
      • Give you your ID card and room keys
        • NOTE: Only students can check-in to receive their ID card; IDs and/or keys will not be issued to family members or friends

  • Moving In
    • After check-in, you can walk or drive to the unloading location closest to your room assignment
    • Upon arrival at the room:
      • Air Flow: We ask that you keep all windows and doors open in student rooms when non-household members are in the room. You should also use the outdoor benches in the hallways (PAS/WES Halls) instead of sitting in the rooms.
      • Masking: ALL students, staff, faculty, families, friends, and move-in helpers who are participating in move-in must wear a face mask regardless of vaccination status.
        • Masks may only be removed to eat outdoors, drink water, or when a student is inside their room/suite with only their “household” members.
      • Complete your Room Condition Report (RCR) on your Residence homepage
      • Complete your door decoration/name tag on your door (optional)
  • Getting Yourself Here

    By Plane

We recommend flying into Ontario International Airport, located six miles east of Claremont, rather than Los Angeles International Airport.

    By Automobile
The Claremont Colleges are easily reached from either Interstate 10 or 210 Freeway.

Once you have entered the College grounds via Ninth Street, park in East Mesa parking lot, the first lot on your right.

Click here for more information about getting to Pitzer.

  • Getting Your Stuff Here
