Orientation Programs Leadership

We are excited to be planning the OA trips for this fall and hopefully putting together the best combination of participants and leaders on each trip! You can find out a little bit about each of us below, but more than anything we want you to know that we are willing to chat about any questions, concerns, clarifications, or ideas. Our job is to plan the most fun, safest, best prepared, and organized trips for new students and we take the job very seriously. If your parents/guardians have any questions, they can also contact us.

To get ahold of the OA Coordinators please email them at oa@pitzer.edu and in your email please include your name, the best number to contact you at, and your email address (because sometimes the “from” email field doesn’t show up in email we receive…). We will try our best to get back to you by the end of the next business day. You can also call Alayna Session-Goins at (909) 607-2988 and leave a voicemail.

Hometown: Born and raised in Mountain View, CA and current home owner in Ontario, CA!

Major/Minor: B.A in Sociology and M.Ed in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University

I am at Pitzer because Pitzer’s core values and mission is unique and aligns with my personal values. The students are incredible and keep me on my toes daily. Who wouldn’t want to work with students as they develop transformative community building opportunities for their peers?!

My favorite places in southern California are the Greek Theater and Hollywood Bowl when I am watching live music, Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead where I can breathe easily, and anywhere I am spending time with my wife, two kiddos, and three pups!
