All new students who will be living on campus and participating in the Orientation Adventure program will check in on Saturday, August 24, 2019, between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. Students check in at the Gold Student Health & Wellness Center to get their ID cards for their residence hall rooms and register for their OA trips.
Please note: Only students can check in to receive their ID card; IDs and/or keys will not be issued to family members or friends.
After new student check in, students will participate in the New Student Welcome session and then join their OA trip group for lunch on the Pellisier Mounds. Students have orientation activities during the afternoon and then will meet back up with their families for the afternoon socials, and then attend the Pitzer Community Dinner on Pellisier Mall (the Mounds) from 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m. For more specific details of Move-In Day, check out the schedule in the New Student Guide.
The Office of Parent Relations will email your parents detailed information about the Parent and Family Orientation program in early June.
Please note: Student rooms will not be available until at 8 a.m. on August 24, 2019. If you arrive in Claremont before that date, we suggest that you make reservations at a nearby hotel.
