Contact the Orientation Staff

We are excited to be planning New Student Orientation for fall first-year, transfer, and New Resource students. We are  putting together the most helpful orientation schedule for our newest Pitzer students!

You can find out a little bit about each of us below, but more than anything we want you to know that we are willing to chat about any questions, concerns, clarifications, or ideas that you may have. Additionally, if your parents/guardians have any questions or concerns, they can also contact us.

All questions about New Student Orientation can be directed to or (909) 607-2988. We will try our best to get back to you by the end of the next business day.

Hometown: Born and raised in Mountain View, CA and current home owner in Fontana, CA!

Major/Minor: B.A in Sociology and M.Ed in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University

I am at Pitzer because: Pitzer’s core values and mission is unique and aligns with my personal values. The students are incredible and keep me on my toes daily. Who wouldn’t want to work with students as they develop transformative community building opportunities for their peers?!

My favorite places in southern California are: the Greek Theater and Hollywood Bowl when I am watching live music, Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead where I can breathe easily, and anywhere I am spending time with my wife, two kiddos, and three pups!

I am at Pitzer because: I get to work with students and colleagues who push me to be a better person and call me in to community. I also love working in the consortium with colleagues from the other colleges who offer diverse perspectives in how they approach their work, in turn sharpening me in my own ongoing professional development.

My favorite places in southern California are: San Clemente, The Little Door, College Ave. in Claremont, and anywhere I can be holding a putter.
