Pitzer College offers payment options to assist our students and families. Currently, we offer a Full Payment Plan and a Monthly Payment Plan.
Full Payment Plan – Payment for all regular charges (tuition, room, board and fees) is due prior to the beginning of each semester. First semester charges, less financial aid credits, if any, are due no later than August 20. Second semester charges, less financial aid credits, if any, are due no later than January 20. Payments received after the due date are subject to late payment fees.
Monthly Payment Plan – Annual charges may be paid in 8 monthly installments, four each semester. For the fall semester, monthly installments are due August through November. For the spring semester, installments are due January through April. Monthly payments are due no later than the 20th of each month. Payments received after the due date are subject to late payment fees. Students are required to submit the completed Pitzer College Payment Plan Agreement form by July 17. Payment Plan Agreement forms received after the initial deadline, but by July 31 will be accepted and assessed a late enrollment fee. Please note that the Payment Plan Agreement will remain in effect as long as the STUDENT remains enrolled at Pitzer College. Pitzer or the STUDENT may cancel this Agreement for any future semester by giving written notice of cancellation to the other prior to the first billing of the semester. The payment plan fee will not be reversed if the account is paid-in-full or if the cancellation request is received after the first billing of the semester.
* For students and families wanting to further reduce their payments under the standard payment plan, there is an option to make a pre-payment prior to the initial semester statements being available in August and January. This pre-payment will reduce the remaining four payments required during the semester. This option means a payment should be made during the months of July and December, before Pitzer generates the actual bill for the subsequent semester.
There is a $50 fee (per semester) added to the student account if enrolling in the Monthly Payment Plan option. Please note that the fee is subject to change annually.
The monthly installment amount is recalculated each month and may change due to the addition of special fees, miscellaneous charges, credits or changes in financial aid amounts.
Please be aware that the use of this plan is a privilege that may be revoked for just cause by the Office of Student Accounts.
