Friday Nurse Notes

Dear Community,

The number of COVID cases on campus is decreasing. This is thanks to everyone’s help in following and implementing the mitigation efforts these past couple of weeks.

COVID-19 Reminders:

  • COVID-19 symptoms could be as minor as a cold or could develop into severe symptoms, such as shortness of breath. It’s important to report all symptoms to either Nurse Zephyr or student health services as soon as they develop.
  • N95 and KN95 masks offer the best protection against the virus that causes COVID-19. Medical grade surgical masks and KN95 masks are available for free in the Office of Student Affairs, Dean of Faculty Office, Gold Student Center, ResLife, PitStop, Dining and the Nurse Clinic.
  • Hendrick’s Pharmacy in the Claremont Village provides deliveries of medications, antigen tests, and other medical supplies with no delivery fee.

See below the COVID case numbers for the week, as of 04/15/2022:

Thank you to everyone for continuing to wear your masks and participating in weekly testing. Your efforts are noticed and appreciated by everyone in the community. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! As always, if anyone has any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me.
