Weekly COVID Community Updates

October 13, 2021

Dear Campus Community,

As our students have started leaving campus for the fall break, this week’s COVID-19 community update includes data from Saturday, October 2 – Wednesday, October 13, and important reminders.

  • Student Travel Break COVID-19 Guidelines: Thank you to our students for submitting your fall break travel plans and for honoring our Mindful of Each Other Student Travel Break COVID-19 Guidelines, including testing expectations.
  • Pitzer Fall Break Campus Life Events, Activities & Programs: Students staying local during fall break are invited to join in opportunities to engage in community on campus. Program details can be found on Pitzer’s Events Calendar.
  • Weekend COVID-19 Support: Students needing weekend COVID-19 related support or who find themselves needing assistance accessing care, should contact Pitzer’s 24/7 On-call Dean via Campus Safety at 909-607-2000. Our team is here to help you!
  • Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Update: Vaccination requirements applying to indoor portions of bars, lounges, nightclubs, breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
  • Well-being & Self-Care: Staying healthy is important during this time as it is the season for the flu, colds, strep throat, and mono. Students needing 24/7 medical or mental health support, can meet with providers via 7C.Health. Attached are wellness reminders from Student Health Services.

We continue to be proud of our numbers below. This has and continues to an evolving journey we are committed to in community. May we continue to strive to maintain this momentum.
