Pitzer College Student-Athlete Erik Munzer '13 Honored by SCIAC

Claremont, Calif. (November 30, 2011) — Pitzer College student-athlete Erik Munzer '13, a defender on the Sagehen Men's Soccer team, was named first-team All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

Munzer served as a co-captain on the men's soccer team as he led the Sagehens to a 10-8 regular season and a 9-5 mark in the SCIAC, good for a tie for third place. He anchored the defense from his center back position and his efforts helped the Sagehens record seven shutouts in their 14 SCIAC games.

Munzer majors in philosophy at Pitzer College.
