Pitzer College Alumna and Board Member Bridget Baker '82 to Keynote 2011 CASE Conference

Claremont, Calif. (January 19, 2011) — Pitzer College alumna and board member Bridget Baker '82, president of TV network distribution for NBC Universal, will keynote the 2011 District CASE VII Conference. Her speech, "Learning from TV: Television Pioneer Tells the Tale of Changing Industry," is scheduled for 1 pm on Thursday, March 3 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

Baker is a founder of CNBC and NBC's first president of TV Network Distribution, where she oversees the North American distribution of NBC Universal's content across the cable, satellite and telecommunications industry.

She graduated from Pitzer College with a degree in political science. In 2010, she was named the College's 2010 Distinguished Alumni and has served on the board of trustees since 2003.

CASE is a nonprofit organization for professionals in educational advancement. The membership represents most institutions of higher education, as well as more than 100 independent primary and secondary schools in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah. The biennial District VII Conference draws several hundred participants.
