Sagehen Football Players Selected to All-Star Games

Claremont, Calif. (November 23, 2010) — Pitzer College congratulates Sagehen quarterback Jake Caron '11 and tight end Robert McNitt '11 on being selected to compete in the Division III Football Senior Classic and the Bowl of the Stars, an all-star contest featuring the top Division III football players against the Conadeip All-Stars of Mexico.

Caron, McNitt and teammate RJ Maki will compete for the South team on December 3 in Salem, VA and December 18 against the Conadeip All-Stars at Tec de Monterrey Stadium in Toluca, Mexico.

Caron ends his career having thrown more completions, more yards and more touchdowns than any other Sagehen. He completed his senior season as the number 10 ranked passer in the nation in NCAA Division III football.

McNitt led all Sagehen receivers in yards per catch (10.2), averaging 44 yards per game and totaling 39 receptions for 396 yards on the season.
