PitStream is an in-house developed video hosting system that allows faculty to upload and store videos to be used for classes. The videos are served with special codec for streaming that does not require download for viewing. Videos are normally organized into playlists and made available via a course site on Sakai, for students to access at any time from any device.
How to access the service:
To set up the video playlist link for a class, faculty should contact firstname.lastname@example.org with the following info.
- title of the class you teach
- title of the videos you want to use
- time you want the videos to be available to students
