Email -Faculty/Staff (Exchange)


Service Description:

Pitzer Based Email Exchange Server.

Available to:

Faculty, Staff

How to access the service:

When a Faculty/ Staff member is hired, a new Email account is created.

Outlook Mail Client (recommended)
Use the Outlook software application(Set as Default on Pitzer PC’s)

Office 365 Email for Faculty & Staff

Other Email Clients
There are a number of standalone email clients (Outlook,Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.) that can be used with Office 365.

Mobile Devices
The following are recommend for iOS and Android devices (contact Help Desk for other app configurations):

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Choose Settings.
  2. Choose Accounts & Passwords.
  3. Click Add Account.
  4. Select Exchange.
  5. Enter your email account in the following format:
  6. Change the description from Exchange to Pitzer or Pitzer Email.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Select Sign in.
  9. Enter your Pitzer password.
  10. Click Sign in or Next.
  11. Choose the services you wish to sync and click Save.


  1. Download the Microsoft Outlook App from the Google Play Store.
  2. Launch the Outlook app.
  3. Choose Get Started.
  4. Skip Google accounts connect if prompted.
  5. Enter your email account in the following format:
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Enter your Pitzer password.
  8. Choose Sign in.
