Please join us for a virtual presentation on the 10 Principles of Intuitive Eating, featuring guest speaker Kacey Legnitto, MS, RD, CEDRD-S.
Intuitive Eating Fundamentals is an introduction to the evidence-based mind-body health approach. Intuitive Eating was created by two dietitians, Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch in 1995. In this presentation, we will discuss what Intuitive Eating is, the cultural influences that impact how we perceive food and our bodies, and how diets and other cultural influences interfere with our mind-body connection and lead us astray from our natural ability to intuitively eat. The intention of this presentation is to introduce the topic of Intuitive Eating and provide initial concepts to support individuals as they enter into the process of finding peace in their relationship with food and their body.
