Hey everyone,
This Sunday Oct. 9th from 3-4 P.M. we (on behalf of SWANAA) are hosting a solidarity event about the recent protests in Iran related to the killing of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini and so many others. This is a space to learn about what’s happening from the perspective of Iranian students. This event is open to EVERYONE at the 5CS, and open to non-Middle Eastern students as well. We ENCOURAGE non-Middle Eastern students to attend to enrich their understanding of the situation. We invite Iranian students from the 5Cs to share their experiences at the event, as our aim is to amplify Iranian student voices. Refreshments will be served as well, so bring your friends!
