Join us for the premiere of a collaborative audio-visual work The Image is the Soundtrack by Scanner and Stephen Vitiello, plus a live conversation with Pitzer Professor Ming-Yuen S. Ma, whose new book There is no soundtrack: Rethinking art, media, and the audio-visual contract they are responding to. This event is free, open to the public, and will be recorded. It is hosted by Prof. Ma’s class Sound, Art, and Power (MS115 PZ) and is a part of the on-going series This is not a reading/Ceci n’est pas une lecture: Remixes and Conversations from There is no Soundtrack.
