Ted Chiang’s short stories have won more than two dozen major science fiction awards, including four Hugo Awards and the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer. Dubbed “one of the most influential science-fiction writers of his generation” by The New Yorker, Chiang is the author of “Story of Your Life,” which was adapted into the 2016 film Arrival.
