Pitzer has run an English and American culture program for Kobe Women’s University since 2007. This year will be the 11th time students from KWU have come for a summer program. While here, KWU students will be taking English classes in the morning, meeting in small groups with student Discussion Leaders and visiting local community organizations in Claremont as well as seeing some of the sights of Southern California. Students stay on campus for a few nights then move to local host families for the rest of the program. They also conduct research projects in English while here which require them to interview as many community members as possible – it would be great if you could help them out by answering a few short questions if they ask you!
