A virtual journaling workshop featuring intuitive eating counselor and mindfulness expert Jared Levenson.
Isn’t emotional eating annoying? Obviously you “know” better. But how can you turn on your logical mind around food when you’re feeling stressed or down? It’s not as simple as you might think! Fortunately, there is a proven journaling method based on the science of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which can help you regain sanity around food and make wiser eating decisions. This live workshop will be interactive and you’ll walk away with a completed journal template you can apply to your day-to-day life immediately.
Jared’s journey began after a 13 month stint in a mountain Zen Monastery. Previously to the monastery he felt confused about his body, emotions and whether he actually belonged in society. For example, Jared developed an obsessive relationship with food after adopting restrictive eating practices he absorbed while wrestling in highschool. After studying mindfulness intensively in the monastery, Jared learned an important lesson that would change his life forever – how to connect to his body and emotions. From there, Jared’s passion to help people connect to their inner world’s has only grown. Today Jared teaches a unique journaling and inner child approach to help people learn to eat intuitively, peacefully and normally.
