Danny Beaton is Turtle Clan Mohawk of Grand River Six Nations Territory. He is an environmental activist who has worked for 30 years protecting Mother Earth and advocating for clean water preservation. He has been honored by the Canadian Parliament on multiple occasions. In 2010 he received the Environmental and Natural Resources Award at the Aboriginal Achievement Foundation Awards on behalf of the Canadian Government. Danny Beaton works in all forms of communication arts including filmmaking, photography, music, teaching and his writing is regularly featured in First Nation Drum and News From Indian Country
