Open to all students, first-years through seniors.
In the its ninth year, the Projects for Peace program is an invitation to undergraduates at the American colleges and universities in the Davis United World College Scholars Program to design grassroots projects that they will implement during the summer of 2017. The projects judged to be the most promising and feasible will be funded at $10,000 each. The objective is to encourage and support today’s motivated youth to create and try out their own ideas for building peace.
Pitzer will nominate one project proposal and one alternate. Plan to attend the info session to find out what makes a great project and proposal! Nominees of each of the colleges in the Davis United World College Scholars Program (Pitzer is one of those colleges) receive the award, and alternates could also receive an award since there is some additional funding available each year!
