Organized in collaboration with the Institute for Central American Development Studies (ICADS), the Costa Rica Health Program provides a unique opportunity for students to explore healthcare in Costa Rica while developing their Spanish and gaining an understanding of the life and culture of the region. Students begin with a spring semester half-credit seminar, then spend an intensive six weeks on a two-course credit program in San Jose, Costa Rica. Students study Spanish, live with a Costa Rican family, and participate in a course on health and healthcare in Costa Rica which includes a health-related internship. Interested students should attend an information session.
