The 2020 Pitzer College Costa Rica Summer Health Program provides a unique opportunity to explore health care in Costa Rica while developing your Spanish and gaining an understanding of the life and culture of the region. Students begin with a spring semester half credit seminar, then spend an intensive six-weeks on a two-course credit program in San Jose, Costa Rica. Students study Spanish, live with a Costa Rican family and participate in a course on health and health care in Costa Rica which includes a health related internship. Interested students should attend an information session.
