Join Effective Altruism Claremont in our Celebration of Petrov Day. We use this day to celebrate not destroying the world, as inspired by Soviet Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Petrov who defied protocol and thus likely saved the world from nuclear war in 1983. We will be watching a short film and then discussing it briefly. We’ll then do a short meditative exercise. Event will take about 1 hour 15 mins.
