Clearance is required usually for students working any protected populations such as: minors, elderly, people with disabilities, people who are incarcerated. If you are not working with these populations your students WILL NOT NEED clearance.
The CEC is holding a ONE DAY FREE MOBILE LIVE SCAN event for students working with community partners that require clearance. This allows students to get cleared, for free at the comfort of Pitzer College. Students will be required to make an appointment between 12pm and 4pm and are required to have all clearance materials prepared for the Live Scan professionals.
