The Art Galleries Fellows create events that engage with the student community, a bridge of communication and an inclusive space with the Pitzer Art Galleries. This event is inspired by the exhibition currently in the Nichols Gallery that seeks to represent the interrelationship between human civilization and nature through vessels and other recognizable artifacts. This event will have food, snacks and drinks, an arts & crafts table where students can play with clay and paint flower pots, listen to good music, and the fellows will be available to give tours of the gallery throughout the event. This event will benefit the community through engagement with the school’s resources, the arts, and allow them to interact with their community.
