Learn about Pitzer-approved programs and exchanges. Attendance at one session is required prior to meeting with a study abroad adviser. Sessions are open to anyone, but sessions this semester are especially for students who want to apply to study abroad next Fall 2021 or Spring 2022.

Join us for this conversation with Pitzer College President Melvin L. Oliver and Brandeis University Professor Thomas M. Shapiro, co-authors of Black Wealth/White Wealth, the award-winning reading selection of Pitzer College’s Alumni & Family Book Club. During this talk, President Oliver and Professor Shapiro will discuss how to better understand the racial wealth gap in the US, where a typical white family has nearly 10 times more wealth than a typical Black family.

The Princeton Review and Pitzer College will take students through a full GRE practice exam. Get actual practice and a good baseline for your GRE official score. After completing the practice exam, you will receive a full score report that will highlight your strengths and weaknesses.

The goal is to teach simple practices to help your grapple with hard situations such as illness, natural disasters, chronic stress, violence, imprisonment, inequities, death, immigration policies, and more. This spring, the programming for the Munroe Center for Social Inquiry is a podcast series. “The Careful Photograph” features contemporary photographers of color who are pushing the medium and posing important questions around race and identity. Each episode starts with a visual description of a single photograph by the artist, and then explores how the work in question works against expected tropes.
