Justice Education Initiative Conference: Inside Perspectives Guiding Outside Action

The Justice Education Initiative at The Claremont Colleges presents its first academic conference, planned and organized by currently and formerly incarcerated students.

In commemoration of the 30-year anniversary of The Watts Truce, this conference aims to amplify the voices of those directly impacted by the criminal legal system, while highlighting the importance of higher education, healing, peace and reconciliation, advocacy, and abolition.

The senior thesis art exhibition opens on Thursday, April 28. See the culminating works of our senior art majors by making reservations from 1–4 p.m. for 1-hour visits, Tuesday through Saturday.
