Pitzer Alumna Sachi Watase ’17 Selected for Teachers for Vietnam Program
Claremont, Calif. (July 6, 2017)—Recent Pitzer College graduate Sachi Watase ’17 will teach English at a university in the Mekong Delta this fall with Teachers for Vietnam (TfV), a nonprofit dedicated to building bridges between Vietnamese and Americans through cultural exchange and university-level language learning. Claremont, Calif. (May 4, 2016)—Pitzer College student Allison Donine ’16, an environmental analysis major, has been selected for the Teachers for Vietnam (TfV) program. She is among a small group of TfV fellows who will travel this fall to universities in the Mekong Delta to offer classes in oral communication, pronunciation, American culture and literature.
