Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens Make Personal & Team Triumphs This Fall

Our scholar-athletes have been thriving this fall season in NCAA Division III intercollegiate sports as they push themselves in their academic and athletic prowess. With the help of our supporters, staff, and the newly opened Center for Athletics, Recreation, and Wellness, our Sagehens are achieving victory as individuals and teams. Matthew Carlson ’23 Earns Second Team All-West Honors in Men’s Soccer

Pitzer senior Matthew Carlson ’23 earned his way onto the United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-West selections as a midfielder. Carlson finished his career at Pomona-Pitzer with career-highs in points and goals. Carlson tallied 19 total points coming off of eight goals and three assists while picking up First Team All-SCIAC in the process.

Sagehens Women’s Soccer Team Earns Third-Straight SCIAC Tournament Championship

The Pomona-Pitzer Women's Soccer team punched its ticket to the NCAA Tournament after their 3-0 win on Saturday over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (CMS) in the SCIAC Tournament Championship at the Pomona-Pitzer Soccer Field. The Sagehens earned their third-straight SCIAC Tournament Championship and their third-straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
