Napier Initiative 2021-22 Fellows Announced

Marisa Cruz Branco ’22 Receives Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship at LACMA

Marisa Cruz Branco ’22 is one of 22 college students nationwide who have been selected to participate in The Andrew W. Mellon Undergraduate Curatorial Fellowship Program. The fellowship provides specialized training to students from historically underrepresented groups in the curatorial field and supports the goal of promoting inclusive, pluralistic museums. As a Mellon fellow, Branco will gain hands-on curatorial experience at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).

Pitzer College Students, Recent Grads and Alumni Awarded Prestigious Honors

Pitzer College Tree from logoDuring the 2018-19 academic year, more than 40 Pitzer College students and recent graduates have won national fellowships, scholarships and other academic honors. With these awards, they will study abroad from Japan to Southern Africa, travel to El Salvador to provide maternal health in remote communities, work to create a more inclusive community and to teach in countries across the globe.
