Claremont, Calif. (July 24, 2015)—Pitzer College Senior Director of Alumni Relations Nancy Treser-Osgood has been elected to the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Board of Trustees. The 30-member board sets CASE policies, approves the annual budget and ensures sound management of the organization.
Treser-Osgood is one of nine new trustees whose election to the board was announced earlier this month during the 2015 CASE Summit for Leaders in Advancement in Chicago, IL. She will be a trustee for District VII, which covers California and the western US.
“I am very honored to be serving as a trustee and representing Pitzer,” Treser-Osgood said. “CASE has expanded into Europe, Asia and Latin America and is piloting programs in Africa. It is exciting to be on the cutting edge of this globalization.”
Before taking her position at Pitzer in 2014, Treser-Osgood was director of alumni relations at Pomona College. A board member of the Claremont Unified School District, she also served as a director of the Claremont Education Foundation.
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas. The association provides networking, recognition, and continuing education for more than 64,000 advancement professionals at more than 3,400 colleges, universities, and independent elementary and secondary schools in more than 70 countries.
