Morello batted a career-best .421 this spring, which included .438 in conference games. She had 53 hits from her leadoff spot in the batting order, giving her 186 in her four-year career, setting a new Sagehens record. In addition, she had a 17-game hitting streak, which she carried until the final day of the regular season.

A year ago, Morello became only the sixth player in program history to earn All-West Region honors from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association after hitting .412, a figure she eclipsed this season while increasing her batting average to .384.

Morello was joined on the all-conference list by junior outfielder Susanne Boden PO ’16 and first-year designated player Kelsey Buchanan PO ’18, who were each named to the second team. Senior second baseman Meagan Tokunaga PO ’15 was also named to the SCIAC’s Sportsmanship Team.
