ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Acting President Thomas Poon takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — with a sustainable twist.

19 September 2014 — Pitzer College Acting President Thomas Poon takes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge — with a sustainable twist.  In deference to California’s threatened environment during the on-going historic severe drought, he takes a modest 8-ounce ice-water shower in a drought-tolerant garden near the Grove House, and invites his fellow presidents of the Claremont Colleges in Claremont, California to also take the challenge.
