Claremont, Calif. (August 26, 2013) — Pitzer College ranks number one nationally for Greenest Campus, Healthiest Dining Hall and Most Flexible Curriculums in a student survey by College Prowler.
Pitzer’s McConnell Dining Hall receives top marks across the dining category with #2 in Best Vegetarian/ Vegan-Friendly Options, #11 for Best School Dining, #11 for Best Quality Food and #12 for Best Cafeteria Variety.
The College is also recognized in other areas of student life including #9 in Best Dorm Atmosphere and #12 for Safest Surroundings. The student body is praised by their peers as some of the nation’s most friendly and most creative.
In academics, the survey places Pitzer #39 in Best Course Variety among 1,379 other institutions.
College Prowler is an online resource for college-bound students. The company creates online guides written by current college students for prospective college students. Student-writers use surveys to gather hundreds of student opinions and reviews, then offer “grades” on all aspects of campus life at each school.
