Pitzer College Wins Four 2011 MarCom Design Awards

Claremont, Calif. (November 8, 2011) — Pitzer College received four 2011 MarCom Awards for excellence in design from the Association of Marketing & Communication Professionals.

The Pitzer College Viewbook received a Platinum Award in the brochure/viewbook category. The Kimball 1901– art catalog also won a Platinum Award in the brochure/catalog category. The publications were designed by Gabriela Contreras.

The Participant fall 2010 issue received a Gold Award in the magazine/educational institution category while the “2011 Family Weekend” invitation also won a Gold Award in marketing/promotional/materials/invitation category. Both were designed by Stephanie Estrada.

The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. It is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. Judges are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
