Sagehen Football Player Named MVP at Tazon de Estrells in Mexico

Claremont, Calif. (December 20, 2010) — Quarterback Jake Caron’ 11 was named the team’s Most Valuable Player by the media at the 2010 Tazon De Estrellas (Bowl of Stars) in Toluca, Mexico. Caron completed 14-21 passes for 143 yards and four touchdowns to help Team Stars and Stripes defeated the CONADEIP Mexican All Stars 48-7.

This season, Caron was also named the 2010 Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and selected to the All-Conference Team. In addition, he was ranked the number 10 passer in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III football.

Caron ends his college football career with more completions, more yards and touchdowns than any other Sagehen.
