Pitzer College Student-Athlete Named to All-SCIAC 1st Soccer Team

Claremont, Calif. (November 16, 2010) — Pitzer College student-athlete Rachel Eckerlin ’11 was named to the 2010 All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic All-Conference First Soccer Team.

“This is a well deserved honor for Rachel, who is hands-down the hardest working student-athlete I have ever had play for me. She has dedicated an incredible amount of time and energy to becoming a better soccer player the last couple of years. It’s really nice to see it pay off, both in this personal recognition for her, and even more importantly, in what she meant to our team this past season,” said Coach Jen Scanlon.

The Sagehen Women’s Soccer finished strong in the 2010-11 season with a three-game winning streak to finish fourth all conference.
