Pitzer College Debuts on Kiplinger’s 2010 Best Values in Private Colleges List

Claremont, Calif. (October 28, 2010) — Pitzer College debuts in the #50 spot on Kiplinger’s Personal Finance annual ranking of the best values in private liberal arts colleges that deliver a high-quality education at an affordable price.

Selected from a pool of more than 600 private institutions provided by Peterson’s, schools on the Kiplinger list were ranked by academic quality and affordability—with quality accounting for two-thirds of the total.

Pitzer College continues to meet 100% of every student’s demonstrated financial need, and the average financial aid package at Pitzer is $38,490.

For nine decades, the Kiplinger organization has led the way in personal finance and business forecasting. Founded in 1920 by W.M.
