Pitzer College Wins Four 2010 Hermes Creative Awards

Claremont, Calif. (April 29, 2010) — Pitzer College received four 2010 Hermes Creative Awards.

The Fall 2009 Participant, designed by Stephanie Guerra Estrada, received a Platinum Award in the Publications/Magazine category.

The Pitzer Web site home page, designed by a web design committee and programmed by Laurie Babcock and Joseph Dickson, won a Gold Award in the Design/Web Site Home Page category.

The 2008 Report of Excellence, designed by Gabriela Contreras, and the 2009 “Welcome Week” materials, designed by Stephanie Guerra Estrada, also received Honorable Mentions.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. It is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals. Only 18% of 2010 entries received an award.
