Pitzer College Alumna and Chef Susan Feniger ’76 Wins First Round of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters

Claremont, Calif. (April 8, 2010) — Pitzer College congratulates alumna and chef Susan Feniger ’76 for winning the first round of Bravo TV’s hit cooking competition, Top Chef Masters, in the second season opener.

Fengier, owner of Border Grill, Ciudad and Street in Los Angeles, was partnered with Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia to win both of the episode’s challenges, advancing them to the champions round.

Top Chef Masters brings together 24 world-known chefs to compete in two weekly challenges, the Quick Fire and Elimination Challenge. The winners of each round receive $10,000 each for their charity of choice and move on to win $100,000 and the title at the season finale.
