Claremont, Calif. (September 8, 2009) — A new café on the Pitzer College campus opened today, with President Laura Skandera Trombley pouring the first cup of coffee. Located in Bernard Hall, the café will be named through a community vote.
Serving coffee, espresso drinks, sandwiches, wraps, salads, fruit cups, juices and freshly-baked pastries, quiche and bagels, the café will be open Monday through Friday 8 am to 2 pm. Wireless internet access and a printer are also available at no charge.
