Pitzer College Wins Two Awards from University and College Design Association

Claremont, Calif. (August 25, 2009) — Pitzer College’s Office of Public Relations received two awards from the University and College Design Association (UCDA)’s 39th Annual Design Competition. Awards will be handed out on Sunday, October 4, 2009 during the 39th UCDA Design Conference in Seattle, Washington.

The 2008 Report Excellence, designed by Gabriela Contreras, received an Excellence Award in the Annual Report/Donor Report category. The Welcome Week/Orientation materials, designed by Stephanie Guerra, also received an Excellence Award in the Special Events category.

The 39th Annual UCDA Design Competition recognizes the exceptional design work done to promote educational institutions. This year, the organization received nearly 1,300 print, go green, and electronic media entries.
