Businessman S. “Mohan” Chandramohan Joins Pitzer College Board of Trustees

Claremont, Calif. (December 10, 2008) – Pitzer College President Laura Skandera Trombley and members of the Pitzer College Board of Trustees announce the election of S. “Mohan” Chandramohan to the Pitzer College Board of Trustees.

Chandramohan is the former chairman and CEO of American Reprographics Company (ARC), a NYSC listed entity and the largest reprographics company in the U.S. To serve its approximately 110,000 customers, the company operates a global network of over 3,000 on-site print centers and 250 ARC branded production centers in the US, Canada China and the United Kingdom. Chandramohan founded the company in 1988 as president and became CEO in 1991. He retired as CEO in June 2007 and later as chairman of the company’s Board of Directors in July 2008. He remains the company’s largest individual shareholder.

On joining Pitzer’s Board of Trustees, Chandramohan said, “I feel hugely honored to be invited to join the Board of Trustees of such an esteemed educational institution and look forward to contributing towards the continued advancement of Pitzer College.”

Previous to founding American Reprographics, Chandramohan was COO and CFO of U-Save Auto Parts Stores, Inc. He also held a position with the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation.
