Parking
Parking will be available in the East Mesa parking lot, the Sanborn parking lot, and on Claremont Boulevard. The parking lots are off of Ninth Street. (see campus map)
Commencement Seating
Guest seating begins at 9 a.m. on the day of Commencement. Seating is available on a first-come-first-served basis. We do not reserve or save seats; however, there is generally seating for everyone.
Special Needs
A drop-off and pick-up point designated for wheelchair accessibility and for the mobility impaired will be in the Sanborn parking lot at the corner of Ninth Street and Mills Avenue. This is the closest location to the Commencement Plaza.
We do not have a designated area of accessible seating, but the entire location is accessible. The Commencement ceremony seats are white folding chairs that can be easily moved to make room for a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. There is also plenty of open space on either side of the Commencement area to store a wheelchair, walker, or stroller. We do not provide wheelchairs, so guests must bring their own.
Guests will be seated under a tent that provides shade.
First Aid
A first aid station will be set up east of the Commencement tent. Plenty of staff will be on hand to help out with any questions or assistance.
Pets
Only certified service animals are permitted on campus during the Commencement ceremony. For the safety of all guests, please leave pets at home.
Refreshments
Water coolers will surround the Commencement tent. Refreshments will also be available for purchase in the Pit-Stop Cafe in Bernard Hall.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be open in the buildings surrounding the ceremony location.
