Regalia

Pitzer will rent regalia for each graduating senior and seniors will receive regalia during Commencement Rehearsal on Friday, May 12, 2023. All regalia must be returned after the ceremony concludes on May 13. Graduates will keep their “Class of 2023” orange tassel.

Intent to Participate for the Class of 2023, was closed on April 3, 2023.

Deadline to submit the Regalia Order Form for the Class of 2023 was March 15, 2023.

Student Marshals & Honored Guest

Each year the senior class selects a member of the Pitzer community to be the Honored Guest at commencement. The Honored Guest is a Pitzer College staff or administrator whom the graduates feel has made a positive contribution and difference to their overall college experience and should be recognized for their efforts. The Honored Guest receives special recognition from the President during the commencement ceremony.

The senior class will also select two faculty members to serve as Student Marshals during the commencement ceremony. The Student Marshals are faculty members whom students feel have significantly enhanced the overall educational environment at Pitzer College. The Student Marshals lead the graduating seniors into the commencement ceremony.

The deadline to submit Honored Guest & Student Marshals Nomination was March 15.

The Commencement Planning Committee cordially invites faculty and staff to participate in Pitzer’s commencement ceremony by marching in the processional with the graduates, faculty, alumni, and trustees.
