PROMISE SCHOLARS FIELD TRIP

We are in need of volunteers for this upcoming visit! We are looking for the following:
- Tour Guides (9am-10am)
- Panelists (10am-1050am)
- Activity Leaders (11am-12pm)

MEET OUR STUDENT TEAM
The Education Program Assistant will provide support to the Education Pillar, supporting connections between SRX courses through tutoring, mentoring and college access placements, and coordinating campus field trips.
BEN MA (HE/THEY) , PZ’26 | SOCIOLOGY
is a second year student from Orange County, California and Hồ Chí Minh City/Sài Gòn, Việt Nam. They are a sociology major, currently interested in research between Vietnamese diasporas between the US and Australia. They are currently working as an Educational Access assistant, working to connect education partners from Claremont and surrounding communities with the Pitzer CEC, faculty, and students.
ANNIKA WHITE, PZ’ 25 | WRITING & RHETORIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS MINOR
Annika White is a third year student from Southport, Connecticut. She is majoring in Writing & Rhetoric and minoring in Environmental analysis. She hopes to use her studies to connect people through storytelling. Currently, Annika is working as an Educational Access assistant, providing support towards the pillar’s mission of using education as a means of facilitating community togetherness.
