CEC Ethics and Orientation Training and Resources

The Ethics and Orientation Training is offered every semester to all incoming students planning on participating in community engagement on and off campus. Students are required to complete this training once an academic year if they are participating in community engagement.

Steps to Completing the Ethics and Orientation Training:

MANDATORY | CEC Ethics and Orientation Training | You must attend our in person training, offered once a semester. This is required every academic year.
EX. If you take this training in the fall 2022 you will not need to take it in the spring 2023. If you take it in the spring 2022 you will be required to take it this fall 2022.

ALTERNATIVE | Recorded Session and Quiz | If you are unable to attend our in person training, will be required to complete the following:

MANDATORY | CEC Student Intake Form | Whether you attend our in person session or the alternative session all students must complete a CEC Student Intake Form. Students are required to complete new intake form each semester they plan on participating in community engagement. Read the following prior to completing your intake form:

OPTIONAL | CEC Event/Program Survey | Once you have completed the above steps, complete the even survey. Your inpu helps us create deeper, meaningful trainings.
