Nicole is an east coast transplant from the great state of New Jersey who is proudly the daughter of immigrants from Ecuador. She has worked in education as a teacher, counselor and advisor and has specific experience supporting first-generation low-income students in college and career success. Most recently, she worked as a College Access Manager with Thrive Scholars, a national nonprofit organization. Nicole received a B.A. in International Relations from American University and a M.S. in Educational Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
Here at Pitzer, Nicole counsels students on a range of topics such as résumés, cover letters, interviewing, and career discovery. She also plans and facilitates career skills workshops including partnerships with student groups on campus. Students should reach out to Nicole if they are interested in planning an event with Career Services or are curious about our workshops and the Career Fellows program.
When Nicole isn’t at Career Services, she is likely taking glamour shots of her dog (Pacha), drawing, or reading spoilers about tv shows and movies while she watches them.
