Dear Pitzer Community,
I am pleased to announce that we have completed the Leadership Profile for our next president. The document is posted on the Presidential Search website as well as on the website for our search consultants at WittKieffer. I hope you feel it captures the essence of Pitzer and the opportunities and expectations for our next leader. I have attached the Executive Summary for your information.
The Profile will be used in advertising, and WittKieffer will now begin sharing it directly with potential candidates. They will contact people who are nominated by you, members of the Pitzer community, and also reach out to an extensive, national network of individuals who have the experience and personal qualities we are seeking in our next leader.
Please take a look at the Profile and continue to nominate individuals you feel may be interested in and qualified for the position (the email address for nominations is [email protected]). We will accept applications through mid-August. At that time, the Search Committee will begin identifying and interviewing semi-finalists, and we will invite the finalists to meet with the Pitzer community on campus in the fall.
I want to thank everyone who has provided input thus far, especially the members of our Search Committee. I look forward to reporting back to you as the process moves forward.
