Sound Off!

“’Sound-Off!’ was established during our first week of school [September 1964] to insure necessary communication throughout the Pitzer community. The first issues were publications from the Dean – pertinent instructions and suggestions to erase the confusion felt by all. With time ‘Sound-Off!’ became a means of free expression. As controversial issues arose, and opinions with them, it provided the opportunity of publishing new ideas and views, arguing, and questioning the previously-established ideas.” – 1964-65 Yearbook
